5 stars! From the moment you walk thru the door you are warmly greated by many friendly faces. You are also taking a step onto the beach with their whimsical interior of being on an island which stems from the name Similians. You definately are welcomed by either an owner or one of the service staff. The menu offers quite a variety of thai dishes, stemming from traditional to more americanized. Some even come with stories of how the dishes made it on the menu. As a Connoisseur of thai food I can honestly say I have eaten at many of the local thai restaurants in and around NOVA and DC and this is one of the best. This restaurant has delishes dishes. So fresh. Sauces so cleverly put together. Some sweet made with cucumber, while others warming you up a little like the dipping sauce that comes with my favorite appetizer Oud Oud. Curries, extreme noodle dishes and sizzling seafood dishes are just out of this world. It is a pleasure to say that this is one of my favorite restaurants. They appreciate customers and provide exceptional service and offer the freshest food. I will get off my soap box now and wait for the infamous Tom Seitsema to come and review it. Make sure when u come to try oud oud as an appetizer or krispy d. Have a simialians thai tea to relax. Then think about what you are gonna try.

Best Thai food in Northern VA! Chef Pann has accomplished the impossible by providing delicious Thai food with ample SAUCE that is flavorful and delicious! Try the best Wonton soup I've ever eaten (uses chicken instead of pork) and the Mee Ew...sooo good! Hot yummy healthy food that is good for you. Doesn't get any better

Great options for vegatarians golden treasure appetizer, drunken noodle with tofu. food is so good. last time I ate there 'enjoyed ' the company of a screaming kid with clueless parents. Wish the manager would have done something about that because after 15 minutes of screaming child it was not pleasant. other than that, love the place!
