Yumi Japanese Restaurant Bar Excelsior

The menu is overpriced for sushi. I've got just salmon and tuna rolls, but I had more rice than fish. The server forgot about our appetizer, the selection of food is really small. They have specials rolls that many other guests choose to order but I didn't find anything that I like. Left hungry as I had 90% of food untouched. Well, my hungry husband had no desire to go to another place, so he finished that food.

Best sushi in the Midwest! I absolutely love this place and it?s my go-to for company and anyone who appreciates quality sushi. Pricey compared to most places in the area, but so worth it! Thanks for all the years of quality sushi, Yumis!

I was really impressed by this place, huge chunks of fish in each bite. Sit at the sushi bar, always fun talking to the chef's.

The sushi was fantastic. Staff is ok. They absolutely need to engage with the guests more. We saw our waitress when she took the order and again to collect our credit card. There was no communication other then that.

Perfection except that the waiter forgot our edamame. He didn't bill us for it, but also never brought it. Everything else was top notch.
