Bidrage med feedbackExcellent meal! Had lunch here based on the great reviews and were so glad that we did. Wife had one of the grilled black pork dishes and I went with the steak. Both were absolutely delicious. This is a small mom and pop place and the owner speaks about as much English as we speak Portuguese but we managed. The menu consists of what is written on the portable chalkboard. Everything seemed quite fresh and locally produced. We also had a small carafe of red wine to enjoy as we relished our meals. We refused the extras that were brought to our table shortly after placing our order. May have been good but it wasn’t something we would have ever ordered. No problem. The total damages came in at under 30E. Btw, the bottle of water on the table will set you back 1.70E if consumed. Highly and happily recommend this quaint place.
Manage to grab a late lunch here and was delighted we stumbled across this place. Pleasant service, tasty Secretos and Maminha and the House red! Would easily return here for another good meal.
The food was great and even though no English was spoken we had a great meal. Would go again if we were back here.
Quality was good, price reasonable but service was awful. It took us 1h to start eating something. Our kid was starving… The waiter forgot several times our orders. My glass of wine never arrived… Finally they made us pay in cash when it was clearly stated at the restaurant entrance that credit cards were accepted.
I know Portugal very well. Lived in Lisbon for 10 years. I visited Evora several times but never had lunch at O Sobreiro. I can 't understand the good reviews. I think I have just has my worst meal in years. Secretos de porco that weren 't Secretos , dry and cold. All the pork dishes were not just bad. They were disgusting. And they don 't have much more options. I didn 't even have coffee.just paid and left. Terrible place.
