Bidrage med feedbackOur food was good, but not great. green beans were overboiled, like the venison. the French wobble soup was very good, but not with the usual melted cheese on the top - only some grated parmesan. that made it easier to eat! molten chocolate cake was delicious, but not especially melted. we have appreciated the fact that the music was on a level that was audible, but did not enter into entertainment, and since the music was calm, the others were also diners who had not to lift their votes to be heard. so much more pleasant than so many restaurants.
Jilly’s was wonderful as usual. Our server Ali, was again friendly, helpful and efficient. My wife and I shared the fried oyster special app to start, which was great and more than enough for the two of us. She then had the rack of lamb which she loved (and I finished…terrific, and I’m not a lamb guy! I had venison as my entree, and it was lean, tender, juicy and delicious. A very generous portion as well. Both entrees were accompanied by very good vegetables. Prices have gone up over the months but still a value. We’ve been eating at Jilly’s since it opened and have never been disappointed!
The fish and seafood dishes are always amazing plus the desserts yum. what a jewel in the neighboring!
The New Year’s Dinner at Jilly’s was amazing! the menu was prix fix with delicious options for appetizers, net and desserts. I went to start the escargot that was prepared and presented perfectly. light, fluffy puffy pastries to fill up delicate escargot in the crimped butter, really well made! for the main I decided to have the most praised risotto, which had a beautiful slender lobster **** above, and was surrounded by taucher scallops and garnelen. dessert, for me, was key lime pie. a fresh taste after my rich meal. we want to go back!
Highly recommended. we enjoyed our Christmas dinner and really appreciate the fantastic service of alfonso and the kitchen staff! we look forward to our next visit.
