Porky Pete's Bbq - Essex

The atmosphere was stylised in this adorable Americana, and the proprietor behind the counter was welcoming. However, the overall experience rates okey. No sooner had I completed my order, when I heard the distinct sounds of microwave button beeping. Also, what was delivered was certainly not a brisket sandwich, which I requested. It's a charming place, but the food quality is mediocre.

This is the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I drove an hour just for the food and it was well worth it.

Everything was good. Little pricey but good. Vegetarian options: They did not have any vegetables at all.

Got really sick after eating here. Worst part is that it was subpar food to begin with, so I couldn’t even enjoy that.

Not worth it to shop here. Dude behind the counter is rude and the food is average at best
