Big John's Place - Erin

Feeling a bit let down. On a road trip home and feeling a little rumble in my tummy. Googled some food nearby — good news! Found a quaint little place named Big Johns supposedly open until 11pm which is great cause it’s 9:30pm and most other local establishments are closed. That sounds like fun. Read some reviews. Four and a half stars. Now I’m drooling and excited to taste a little bit of the local culture in Erin TN. Got my self and my boys all gussied up and ready to enjoy the festivities. Drove ten more minutes down the road, past some open restaurants because I just knew Big John wasn’t going to let me down. Roll up on the joint, and to my chagrin: closed. Sad day for us. Sad day for Big John. Lost my business forever. Below is a photo of the club sandwich I would have enjoyed at this fine establishment.

I only stoped once but great food look forward to going back

Easily the biggest and best cheeseburger around. I haven’t tried anything here that isn’t incredible!

Stopped here after a long drive for lunch. Place was more like a bar that was open during lunch. I wasn't treated like other customers because I wasn't local. Food was mediocre.

I go here every chance I can! I grew up in a restaurant so my expectations are high when I go out to eat and they meet every expectation. Great food, awesome atmosphere, and the service is wonderful! Absolutely love the friendly conversations from the owner,the employees, and the customers! The home town restaurant that all of us grew up with exist right here!
