The Union Diner - Endicott

Food was great. Service was good and congenial, despite being understaffed. I am a repeat customer, because the food is good, ample, and all the servers are friendly and knowledgeable.

During a road trip to NYC, we needed use of a restroom. We ended up at this beautiful diner. Unfortunately we weren't currently hungry but offered to order cake to go if we could use their facilities. Staff was very kind and the cakes were amazing. Glad we stopped!

Stood and waited to be seated because of hostess discussing whatever with waitress. It wasn 't busy. Also waited to be cashed out because the same hostess was doing bookwork. I finally asked that we be helped to pay our check because we had another appointment. They seem to have an attitude of I 'll be with you when I 'm done understand this, but it wasn 't busy. They make you feel like I 'm sorry to bother you . Good food and choices. They do charge to use your credit card which I think is unfair.

Food is really good and a good price. Service can be slow but friendly.

Great place to get a hearty meal at a resonable cost. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere.
