Flames Steakhouse - ELMSFORD

It's a big room. It's calm and intimate. The food is phenomenal. Steaks are always great. The appetizers are excellent and the wine list has depth and substance. It also serves other participants very well. But I personally love their steaks. The place is pricy. Don't make a mistake. Be ready to spend some of the hard-earned money you deserve when you're here. This is not a casual food, but it is also not a business power room or a “guest my net worth” type of space. People come dressed as they feel, be it in a suit or in jeans. It's worth it.

Our first time and we loved it. We would have come back

First time surprise: from the looks of outside I didn’t expect such a cozy Wood paneled cozy atmosphere. Waitstaff was very responsive. Food was excellent. Porterhouse steak for 4 was tender, tasty and suited rare as well as medium rare diners. Sides were excellent and desserts delish. The only problem was there was a very noisy foursome next to us. One man was extremely loud with whole group boisterous! It wasn’t til they left that I realized with them gone it could be peaceful. BUT they were there mostly!! I couldn’t hear our other guests because of their noise!!! It was a family dinner for us who wanted to “catch up” but those four Prevented us from talking or hearing. They were rude and crude not considering other diners. They kept talking about Portchester And THEIR JOME RENOVATIONS. I really didn’t need to know about THEM but wanted to speak with MY FAMILY!!

A hidden gem. Do not judge this restaurant from the curb. Great, attentive service and a well cooked meal.

It is way overpriced for a neighborhood restaurant.
