Papa Poblanos Mexican Cafe - El Dorado

Did a good Mexican food chase mostly nachos. We came here and told the waitress what I wanted. We called them the birthday nachos! Man was great!

Always moderately busy but eating is very good, the service was always great and the margaritas are over! Try it!

They've really gone downhill all I ordered was some chips and salsa and the chips had a super funky smell and taste, like old burnt grease and the salsa, which used to be absolutely amazing, tasted like canned stewed tomatoes with a hint of funk.

I was there early and it looked like I was the only person in the restaurant. the service was very good. the lady took my order after giving me some time to watch the menu. I ordered a chimichan gas. it was hot and fresh. the taste was very good. I wish it had been fried a little longer. the dish was just a little on the smokey side. the rice had a large mix of vegetables and was loaded with taste. they were very good. the chips were crispy and had a great maize taste. the only problem I had was the amount of salsa. it came in a tiny cup.

Food was good and service was good. The prices are okay. Our waitress Marisela was nice and attentive to our table. The terrace view was also a plus.
