The Cuddie Brae - Edinburgh, City of

My wife and I love Cuddie Brae and make an effort to visit often. We are excited for the reopening in the new "COVID world."

The employees were pleasant and the service was fast. However, it was noticeable that the dessert was frozen, with a slight freezer burn. I requested my steak to be cooked rare.

A convenient spot for those driving to the Margaret University campus from the south in search of lunch. The food is tasty, with a menu that offers more adventurous options.

This place was recommended by friends so we had a mini school reunion years and I loved it. It's very relaxed, fantastic design and theme, felt like Martha's Vineyard or somewhere, wide range of food and prices, good quality too. We didn't feel rushed...at all so we really managed to catch up and service kept us topped up and was attentive. Overall very impressed and will be returning.

We had minutes before our train so nipped in for something quick. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We had a sandwich and chips which were delicious and the perfect snack. Thank you for to the staff for their hospitality and seating us...quickly
