Beautiful pub for a dinner and/or a drink (they have an impressive list of whiskys). Watch the kitchen closes sharp at 9 a.m., we could not order Dessert at 9:05 a.m.!

We had the best pubs in Edinburgh. Great quality and taste. Come back to breakfast since we had such a nice time. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Go!

Visits for a pre-wedding. The staff is so great here. Super friendly and so knowledgeable about the different whiskys they have in stock. I have some good recommendations that we have tried during our time. Catered food was also really good. Service, atmosphere and quality make this a great place to visit.

Absolutely love the Abbey! Food is always excellent, the team are wonderful and so helpful and friendly! An the atmosphere is always full of fun, laughter and conversation! Its like stepping back in time but that's why I love it so much! (The wine is good too)

Amazing local pub with a wide selection of beer and a fantastic whisky collection. Your staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming and happy to advise if you need help to choose from! Food is delicious- we had some beginners, some of us had daily specialties, other pub classics, but everyone was very happy with their choice. You can also call a table and book if you want to be sure that they have space for you.
