Without a doubt, the worst Sunday lunch I have ever eaten. The mashed potato was very lumpy, the beef tasted and looked like it had just come out of a plastic bag, the carrots were undercooked. Nothing was seasoned. The gravy was probably the tastiest thing on the plate. Unfortunately, it was served in a two pint plastic jug! Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

We had an amazing Sunday lunch with over 20 family members. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and it was definitely worth the price. It was the perfect way to end a fantastic weekend.

What a gem we visit few times, today even when fully booked they fit us in seat by fire full Sunday roast service welcoming amazing felt so at home , the food perfect five fresh veg cooked to perfection mash roasts York puds gravy all delicious and I am fussy , quick service , price amazing , but the best was the service I highly recommend this place we will revisit again and again , gem of a place well done x x
