Texas Roadhouse East Meadow

I recently tried Texas roadhouse with my family. I had the early bird special and I had the country fried chicken with white gravy and my wife had the same thing. My other family member had the sirloin it was cooked to perfection. Yes, everything was awesome. It's my favorite place.

Always great food with excellent service. Best prices around. Wish they were open for lunch on weekdays.

I visited Texas Roadhouse East meadow as I had seen a Google review which claim the steaks with some of the best in the country. I answered the restaurant and was very pleased at the bright friendly atmosphere and even more pleased at the congeniality of their staff. I took a seat at the bar was immediately met by the bartender who was also very congenial. I ordered the 20 oz ribeye steak Caesar salad and french fries, I also ordered a Stella Artois tap beer. Within 5 less than 5 minutes I was served my Caesar salad which was a small portion however it was crisp fresh and delicious. My 20 oz ribeye arrived about 10 minutes later had a nice appearance and was gently running out some juice indicating what I thought would be a tasty steak. I cut into the steak for the first muscle I was going to try and had to push that aside as The first cut was all fat. I cut into the center and took a nice size morsel which was nice and pink and decided to taste that. The meat was tender however when I taste of the steak I was terribly disappointed. The meet had absolutely no taste. I tried several other bites and got very much the same result a very tender tasteless meal. I tried the French fries The french fries or soggy not even a little bit crispy. The beer however was very nice ice cold fresh and tasty. I would have given two stars as the salad and the beer were good, however decided against it as the steak was so poor. Would not go back for a meal again .

The food was great. Service on the other hand left much to be desired. Had to return my steak since it wasn't cooked as ordered. Didn't get it back until everyone else was finished

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Only problem is it's freezing in the summer time. To the point that you want to leave before your food is served. Bring my young children who complain how cold they are. The food is good but gets cold quickly.
