Alan Fish - East Cambridgeshire

We often had food from here and was always impressed but unfortunately Saturday was disappointing, chips were nice but the large cod wasn't that large, it was dry and not much meat and the mushy pea portion (micro size so not impressed after a revisiting.

This is our favourite chippie in Ely. Always hits the spot and we have been here quite a few times. They do accept card nowadays which is great. Takeaways only here, and limited waiting space. I recommend getting the curry sauce.

Great fish and chips. All freshly cooked while you wait, learn to be patient! Down to earth no nonsense unpretentious fenland fish and chip shop in Ely city. Not keen on card payments, unless you ask nicely.

Tried cod with chips. Very good quality. Cook to order but worth the wait. Would definitely go again when visiting Ely next time.
