Bidrage med feedbackWonderful eating and beautiful atmosphere! many thanks for a beautiful family dinner!
Eating was okay, everything perfectly edible, but not amazing. not much huh and chorizo, or all in the paella two pieces huhn and maybe 3 pieces chorizo, and most of them was a tad bland and bit stingey with portion sizes. the texture of the chorizo croquettes was inside mush. the service average was not rude or so, but was not particularly attentive. was not busy at all when we got in, just a few on the other side of us, so no atmosphere, really. to be honest, I prefer to eat the service and the atmosphere of the tappas factory if I would choose between the two. better price-performance ratio and better taste. Maybe it was just because we came on a very quiet bank holiday day, but overall it was a pretty average experience. not bad, but it lacks a real hull to let me back in the hurry.
The first time that we visited it was only for drinks 5* we were impressed by the service and the charming rustic ambiente of the interieur, the second time we brought a few friends to dinner and again everything was 5* after our third visit today we know that this facility is a complete jewel in the krone of restaurants in durham city center. our last culinary experience was so good that it is hard to put in cake. the service is perfect. every court we ordered was impressively well presented, and above all a literal hit in the flavors. I could no longer be impressed by gussto tapas bar if I could give them 10 stars, I would like to do that. I hope and wish this business sincerely every success for the future. bravo youngs give them a huge patt on the back for their fantastic business. we'll see you soon.
Great menu. Ordered far too much food which was our fault so some dishes went cold too quickly. However food was well cooked and presented. We were there on a Thursday afternoon and were only people there so no atmosphere which was a shame. Biggest downside I think is access to the restaurant for anyone with disability walking issues and access to loos which are down steep stairs and right next to kitchen. not ideal location. However will return and wouldcrecommend
We were the only customers on a Friday afternoon. It is a challenge to get here, down stairs and to their toilets, also downstairs, if you have mobility issues as I have. Wheelchair users will not be able to dine here. Servers were polite and friendly. For our tapa we had Pan Catalana, could have been crispier bread. Patatas bravas with cheese, asparagus con remolacha, trocitos de cerdo a very nice pork belly dish, and a couple of other items i cannot recall. with a bottle wine it came to 80 pound for two of us.
