Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We went to dinner at 7:00. Had a group and we weren't in a hurry. It was a fun experience, as usual with each CB. The service was okay, but they were busy. This time of day, quite all restaurants fight with shortage of work and training new people. I don't believe this against every restaurant today, because COVID changes our world in many ways, everywhere and not just restaurants. The food was as good as usual that CB was known.

I followed all instructions that my order will be sent to my vehicle. After waiting for over 25 minutes for an employee to see the front chairs clean, I went in and made sure that my order was there. I understand that personnel problems are a dilemma; but the answers to why things were not done, as advertised that I got from supervision, I was only retail, the cash registers are supposed to bring this out. My answer was that she had someone outside to wash only chairs she replied Oh, he's only night maintenance. In other words, none of my concerns about their lack of informing me that they do not have people to bring it out could have meant that I had gone in and got my food while it was still fresh. I'm home and the food was lukewarm.

My first time I've eaten pancakes in the USA and they were great. Macy was a great waitress and so nice. We enjoyed the whole experience.

The food was okay. I had to send my turkey and move because it was cold. The first plate came with two slices of cold turkey. The second came with a slice of warm turkey and room temp dressing. We never got butter for the cookies. Our tea glasses were only refilled once and we were not offered any cups. We only saw our waitress (Holly) three times as soon as we set ourselves and they immediately asked if we knew what we wanted to eat before we even ask what we wanted to drink, and secondly, when she had the food and the third time she filled our drinks and broke out the check. I understand it's Christmas weekend and they're busy and short, but that doesn't mean that customer experience should be completely forgotten. If we go back, we won't have them back as a waitress.

Natalie was my waitress she was very nice and pleasant. She provide me with good serve and the food was good.
