Backwerk - Duesseldorf

After a worker had asked about the “avocado mare” and “sandwich” several times, he finally admitted that it is not sold out, they simply do not store it even though it is advertised!

For a fast on-the-go snack (especially on a Sunday when many places are closed) the spinach bore is a decent alternative. but it is a snack, not especially fill out.

To time, the bakery series can be quite decent for vegans; other paints it is black coffee and broth rolls. if it is available, it is quite decent for a chain bakery. the sun-dried tomato and avocado sandwiches are good in the morning, but dry when it has been there all day. the vegan scavenger rolls are good, but difficult to get.

The spinach bucks are beautiful, I also tried the guacamole bagel that was not big tbh. all vegan items are listed on the website and marked in the store

Went in to see whether they had the vegan börek (vegan pastry which spinach filling) and they did! It was cheap and delicious. I tried it before at BackWerk in Lubljana so I was happy to find it again here. All the products show a list of what they contain in German, so if you can't speak/read German you could look up the words for eggs and milk or ask someone to help.
