Bidrage med feedbackI eat food out of here at least once a week, usually lasagne, but I try their other foods too its always been tasty staff very pleasant smiling. However, today, Friday, I ran over decided to get their Quiche. I got a slice of quiche burnt, it was black. I questioned that it was burnt the man at the til, assured me it was golden brown from oven that it would be fine. ??? . His English was poor so didn’t understand what else he said. I did not see where they picked my slice from, but it wasn’t what I saw in the display. I can only assume it was hidden. The pastry underneath was burnt black as well. It was sadly inedible. It comes with 2 salads, I got green lettuce pasta. My lunch needless to say was dull tasteless, with no offer from the server if I wanted balsamic on the salad either. A thing usually offered. I did notice the owner was not there. I’m not convinced he would serve that ‘golden brown’ quiche to his customer. You pay a little bit more here, but the food is normally really nice, so I didn’t mind. Today, I paid over €7 for inedible black quiche, some tasteless lettuce leaves a spoon of pasta with no time to get an alternative. I’m a bit annoyed about it frankly.
I’m delighted to see that Olive Green is Still going strong on Baggot street. Great quality take out lunches from the ever friendly team. I had the baked ham sandwich yesterday which was delicious their coleslaw has a lovely kick of heat. Try it if you’re in the area.
I have been addicted to this place and their quiche for a few months now. They also have lovely salads. the only thing that gets me is if the owner isn 't there, the portion sizes are a lot smaller. I watched as my lunch was being doled out, one spoon of each salad and then she took some out again as in 'that 's too much '. For the price your paying, yes it 's lovely but make sure the owner is there
Very poor moody lady serving us. I ordered a small coffee and was greeted with a sulky response and a large coffee.
For a salad bowl with 3 salads its €6.95 and for a bowl of soup to take away its €3.95 Very fresh and tasty but you couldn't go everyday, it would burn a whole in your pocket.
