We went to this place on Saturday 19th December . It is the worst buffet ‘restaurant’ I’ve ever visited! The place is filthy , the walls are stained the seats are a disgrace. The food was limited and basically thrown into the containers. This is NOT a restaurant it’s like a food kitchen for homeless people ; absolutely the worst place in any of the many Chinese restaurants. The hse should visit them it’s absolutely filthy
Only few dishes ,no salad or dessert. Before Corona virus there was full buffet. Why would u charge full price!
Weird set-up where you pay before you sit down and order drinks, although the selection is limited, mp beer, warm wine etc. Staff don't seem to appreciate you having to take a few mins to peruse the shelves. Not a great or large selection of food on offer. Food tasted okay but I felt a bit sick afterwards from the msg. If you leave food on your plate you have to pay extra £3 per 100g). Limited staff presence. All in all a cheap experience with limited service but that is the best thing I can say about it.
We came here at my wife's cousin's recommendation. We went up to the hotpot which she said was better than the buffet. The hotpot was upstairs. Understand that this is a cheap eats restaurant. As such do not expect to pay street food prices and expect 5 star Michelin quality, and service. I have read the other reviews and most of them said it was blah blah food. They never mentioned how little they paid for it. if you compare, price wise, to let us say, a McDonald, you get a lot more food. And a lot of people say McD is bad assembly line food. Only one review mentioned that if you want better chinese food, there are pricier ones available. The hotpot was decent enough. There was enough choices there to make it worth it. Of course it cannot compare to the hotpot that I go to here in NYC (for only about $2 more). But for the price, who can argue. You get a decent meal- not gourmet- and free tap water. No need to buy bottled water. The hotpot area was less crowded than the ground floor buffet so if you are coming here, I suggest asking for the hotpot option. BTW they have a karaoke private room. When we were there, there were some people singing that can be heard thru the closed door. Would I come back? Yes. Cheap eat, decent (my valuation; not 5 star) food in an otherwise pricey city.
