Drayton Chop House

I had a terrible experience Saturday night. I was there for 1.5 hrs waiting on my orders while listening to running children upstairs the whole time, to which the restaurant couldn't control (they did ask the parents 3 times to calm the children and were not respected). The restaurant is under new owners from Mississauga which was to my surprise because I was expecting the menu to have a variety of steaks, not just one option. Which that one option of steak turned out rare rather than what we wanted, medium. First visit since the new owners took over, everything was great.The cauliflower appetizer was delicious, portion sizes for everything were fantastic! Also had the best mojito of my life- try the passionfruit one!

During our visit, we had the opportunity to chat with the new owners, who proudly shared that all desserts are made locally in Drayton. They also had a selection of locally brewed beers, which added to the overall experience. We left thoroughly impressed and already planning our next visit.

While passing through Drayton on the Family Day weekend from Toronto, we stumbled upon the Drayton Chop House and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the hospitality was warm, and the building exuded rustic charm. We discovered that the restaurant had recently reopened under new ownership, and based on our experience, we hope they continue whatever they're doing. The owners show their expertise in hospitality and restaurant management, evident in the thought put into both the food and decor. We were also pleased to learn that they source their ingredients from local purveyors, a practice that is becoming increasingly rare. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and are grateful we stopped by. The locals in the area are fortunate to have such a reliable spot to frequent.

Amazing food, amazing vibe and I just found out the owners are fairly new to the location hats off to them! It had a family vibe with a rustic feel and the food was so tasty and the staff was so nice highly highly recommended! Will def plan to come again very soon!
