Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Downers Grove

I was pleasantly surprised by this place!! smoothies are huge and flavorful, with a good texture to them. I much prefer this place to smoothie king, as the smoothies are much more fruity and juice-like, not full of powders and ice cream. will definitely be coming here again

Service was good. The employees were very nice and patient, but I found a strand of hair in my wrap about halfway through eating it. In general the food is decent, but a bit pricey however if you fill out a survey the next time you get a smoothie for 1.99, good promotion.

UPDATE : THE MANAGER WAS VERY KIND TO DELIVER THE ORDER THAT DOORDASH SCREWED UP AND SAID WE?D BE REFUNDED BY THEM. A FEW DAYS LATER STILL NO REFUND AND WE CONTACTED DOORDASH AND THEY SAID THEY REFUNDED THE RESTAURANT AND DOORDASH GOT AHOLD OF THEM AND THEY SAID THEY?D REFUND ME. THEY ASKED FOR MY INFO AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND AND IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A WEEK THAT THIS HAPPENED. We had an incident with an online order and the managers went above and beyond to help us with this issue. Definitely great people and amazing customer service.

Horrible place to go, I entered the store and immediately the manager said ?it?s going to take a while to make your order? I said it?s ok no problem. Waited 50 minutes to get my smoothie, when I finally have a sip the taste was bad like wasted fruits idk. Talk to the woman and she said it?s going to take another 50 minutes to make a new one, even tho the store was empty.

Pretty good.....everything tastes great but like everyone else, they are understaffed. Had to wait 20 minutes for a smoothie (that did not disappoint.
