Wasabi - Douglasville

The restaurant needs a deep cleaning. There is a funky smell when you walk in and the fish tank is filthy. The employees were really friendly. Although the restaurant was crowded, it only took about 10 minutes for them to sit 14 of us. The Chef was good, the food was delicious! The portions are big. You can sit at the hibachi table or a regular table and order from the menu. For mine and my husband's lunch, $49.83 not including the tip. We will definitely be back. We went back and sat at a booth after the above review. But seeing the condition of the air vents, nasty ceiling tiles, the air conditioner etc... we won't be going back. The photos show what's blowing in your food. I don't know what happened to the Health Inspector.

The prices, food, and staff are all great. They have seating away from the Hibachi area if you don't want to be close to all the parties as well.

We had a fantastic experience at the neighborhood hibachi grill during the week. I think our servers name was Yenny. He gave great and very honest suggestions. It is a very low key spot if you 're not looking for anything too fancy but want Habaci Edit: Today our whole table had a horrible experience simply because of my mushroom allergy. As regular Habaci diners I unformed my server of my allergy while we ordered drinks, I also requested a salad in place of my soup due to my allergy. When the chef came out to cook I noticed the mushrooms sitting on top of the other vegetables on his cart and before he even read us back our tables food, I interrupted to remind them of my allergy. He said it wasn 't on his paper, I informed him I had mentioned my allergy to my server. He basically told me he wasn 't going to do anything about it simply because he already brought out the ingredients. I told him everytime I come this isn 't a problem and how they cook all the food. He started yelling, our server got involved and the 2 of them yelled at each other in Japanese. He refused to simply replace the vegetables (as if they didn 't have plenty of time to use those vegetables for another table). Our server said I 'd have to talk to the manager. I explained what was happening and at first she said it was my issue because the server didn 't write it down. We argued and she agreed my vegetables could simply be made in the kitchen as not to disturb the vegetables at the table. Back at the table was the fastest most thrown together Habaci service WE had ever seen. He said he didn 't want to cook for us, threw the food on our plates and left. The entire table of strangers dicussed they had never seen anything like this. Our server said he was in the back yelling actually calling him crazy . One of the people at the table asked for the manager who in the end did nothing. Because of this debacle over something that was so simple, I will likely not be back as a regular guest.

I really enjoyed eating at this place over the last couple months (usually takeout)The menu gives a lot of options and is moderately priced. Unfortunately this last time it literally curbed my appetite how unsanitary the condition of the dining room was.Filthy air conditioning vents and ceiling tiles throughout. The booth chairs are ripped /uncomfortable and distracting. Clearly this establishment makes enough money to make the repairs and take the time to deep clean. Not fair to us patrons. I cringe to think of the condition in areas we don’t see in the back.

If I could give 0 starts I would. Like I told the staff I have been customer for YEARS!!! not only have I been coming here for years I travel a distance just to get to this location. our portions was half the size that we normally get. It was more like a child’s meal portion. When I address the issue to the manager, I told her im a longevity customer she replied, “so I’m I” not understanding why she responded with such comment. I never felt unprofessionalism from this establishment until today. It really put a nasty taste in my mouth at this points well will never return! Not for parties either. I rented party section out several time never again.
