Bidrage med feedbackNow I know where my Harley transmission oil goes to. Do you need more cholesterol? Grease exchange from my steering column and garlic soya sauce from my engine oil. Evrything tastes the same, all cvomes fried, with sauce of oil and grease. Nothing steamed and delicately seasoned. Try Man Li restaurant to find out how to properly prepare take out food. Found that treasure during covid. Servicwe is good. Expensive for what you get poorly prepared.
One of the few great Szechuan restaurants remaining in Montreal area that has been there for 20 plus years. And still the best place to go for quality Chinese food. Must start with the dumplings in peanut butter sauce and make sure to order the pepper chicken with crispy spinach. Both dishes are unique and outstanding! Simply the best!
Excellent food; one of the best oriental restaurants I've visited! The service is also excellent. The quality of the place has stayed excellent even during the pandemic.
I’ve been going to this resto since 2008 and it is still the best Chinese food ever!!! So much variety and truly the best cooked and tasty meals. It’s the kind of resto u just can’t get enough of! It’s our go to cheat night! And every time our family comes from Ottawa they want to go here! The family owned resto cares about their food and about their reputation and it’s quality has not changed only improved over the years!! I can’t explain how much we love this place! Our fav are the peanut butter dumplings the chicken skewers with peanut butter sauce, the shrimp canapés, the spring rolls !! The spicy beef pepper sauce, the general tau, the beef in bean sauce, the pan fried noodles and shrimps in lobster sauce
Used to love going there quite a few years back way before COVID. Then gradually the quality and authenticity of the dishes started to wane. Just to name a few of my old favorites, the General Tao Chicken used to be crispy with the delicious sauce over it but it became soggy on arrival. The Hunan Dumplings in peanut butter sauce became heavy and doughy, dropping to stomach like lead. The almond cookies have very little almond in them. This is just to name a few dishes of many that have lost their luster. So paying so much more for lesser quality is painful. Sadly we're left with La Perle as the restaurant a cut above the rest at quite the price.
