Eastern Market Seafood Co - Detroit

The Old World Sandwich at this place is definitely worth a visit. It is a tasty combination of sausage, cabbage, and salad on a pita. The place where you can purchase this sandwich is oddly called the Eastern Market Seafood Company. Despite its name, they offer a variety of seafood options, but also have a large selection of sausages. The rest of the space is used for a small grocery store, reminiscent of post-Soviet Russia in the 1990s. It may seem like they have too much space for what they offer, but the sandwich alone makes it worth a visit.

The customer service at this restaurant was excellent and the seafood was far superior to a market I had visited the day before. Additionally, their prices were more reasonable. I purchased some delicious prawns/scampi.
