Island Wing Company - Destin

Came into Destin late and wanted some food, Island Wing Company was open and no wait. The staff was friendly. Clean dining area. Mediocre food. I ordered the banging shirmp quesadilla. It was just cheese, hot sauce and ranch, I wish I made a better selection. My friend ordered the wings and fries. The fries were very lackluster, but she enjoyed her baked chicken wings. With the wings being baked it did take a little longer for the food to come out, so be prepared. I most likely won't come back here.Parking: Parking lot available right in front of the restaurant.

Overall, not bad. wings quickly came out and were well cooked. they have an extensive bierlist and quite good mixed drinks. wait they, the personal could some training on proper customs and courtesy, came a little rude to time. carolina hot have good taste, not sharp. Polynesian were a little blandgarlic buffalo were good, heavy garlic taste.

Such a unique restaurant! According to the menu, nothing here is fried, so talk about a yummy selection! The Jamaican rice is amazing! We really enjoyed having lunch on the patio. The ambience of the food,the patio, and the breeze from the gulf made for a superb dining experience!

I have to be completely honest about this place. First and foremost this is a very nice convenient place to eat in Destin and there was no wait at all. The staff is very friendly and nice. Now about the food, our drink was very watered down I do not recommend getting any of their frozen drinks. I had the coconut shrimp as my meal and it had so much batter on it that I could barely taste the shrimp or the coconut. My husband had a chicken salad and he said it was pretty good, also he had bbq wings and the tuna and he liked it. I would not go back to this place or eat here again as I was not impressed.

It's been a few years since we've been to Destin and we always love eating at Island Wing Company as it's always been one of our favorites to eat at and this time was no different. Baja fish tacos were great and my wife loved her BBQ chicken nachos. We will be back before we leave Destin to have some of those awesome wings, thank you for a great meal.
