Bidrage med feedbackUnfortunately our evening was disrupted from the beginning when I was served an old fashion and the glass was jagged and I cut my lip. There was also a large group in our area , so getting attention for that and drinks at times was challenging. My wife and I attend this spot often, so let's just say we was disappointed with what was offered as compensation. We was celebrating a friend who is battling cancer and the evening fell way flat after this happened.
Took 2 hours to get our meal, and waiter didn't come check on drinks. When the food did arrive, it was cold. The weight staff was very apologetic and did Comp dessert. It was a cool place to go, but I did find it too loud in the dining room to really have a conversation. At the end of the day I give it a three star... But I'm not sure I would go back because it was also very expensive.
Even with a reservation, unfortunately, we were seated at a table in the bar area. Not the setting we were expecting. Loud and constant thumping bass music boom boom boom boom... throughout the entire evening. Reminded me of being in Cabo San Lucas at the Squid Roe Bar. Just disappointing compared to my previous experiences at Shula's Prime Steakhouse!
Manny was our primary server, and he made our evening an enjoyable experience. From beginning to end he was there with perfect non-intrusive timing. We greatly enjoyed him welcoming our having a dining experience . From the appetizer through the main course, the food was excellent. My only less than positive comment is with the seating arrangements. When enjoying a meal of this caliber and price more intimacy is expected as we were seated on a small 2-top, with identical seating on either side in to close proximity.
Restaurant has a great view. DJ was a nice touch. Food was mediocre at best. We had a salad, beef tips (very tough) and the bread plate. Would maybe return for a drink but skip the food.
