Lion's Choice - Des Peres

Love IT!. I can never get enough of this food. The cheese fries are great! The food is amazing, not too expensive, and is something you will crave again and again... believe me, you need to try it!

Utter perfection in fast food roast beef. If you ate Arby's after you ate Lion's Choice, that would be like deciding to drive a Ford Pinto after being offered a Lamborghini. Yes, that's it. Lion's Choice is the Lamborghini of roast beef.

Truly a STL tradition! They have a gluten free bun available, but know that the au jus isn't GF safe. Their seasoning mix is wonderful!

Good roast beef. I got the $5.55 meal deal which included a roast beef sandwich, small fries, and a small drink. I also got a chocolate mini dip cone for 49 cents, which is always worth it. The sandwich was very, very salty. I liked it, though. Coincidentally, the fries didn’t seem to have any salt, so it was quite backwards from most establishments. The fries are similar to McDonald’s fries. I had forgotten that you can order them with seasoning, but I’ll definitely do so next time. Overall, the food, service, and price were all good enough to warrant a positive review.

Grew up in Eureka MO miles from a Lions Choice but moved to Chicago where I’m now hundreds of miles away. Stopped by the DesPeres location while in town last week to get my fix. The staff was kind, friendly, and courteous and didn’t look at me weird when I ordered additional food to go LOL. Roast beef is always delicious and the fries are phenomenal. DO ME A FAVOR AND MOVE UP TO CHICAGO PLZ!!!!
