Nixon's Coffee House - Denver

Coffee was OK, but blueberry scone had very little flavor. More of a “flavored coffee“ kind of place.Food: 3/5

Always feel like a person who matters when I come in and order. No matter the barista working that day, I have always have been offered bid to engage, connect, and be seen immediately upon arrival. Their coffee is delicious and reliable and they have great seasonal latte options. I tried the hot white rose mocha which was a complimentary herbal note but not overpowering. Wish I lived closer to this establishment. Customers appear to enjoy working and meeting friends here and the acoustics are decent although don’t plan to do a lot of zoom calling. The music isn’t too loud but there is a lot of hustle and bustle.

TREATS THERE WORKERS TERRIBLY!One star for owners I have 6 friends work there, christian honest friends. They reported the owners taking from the tip jar, not compensating for long 7hr mandatory trainings, verbally rude, new workers are not trained well (not staff’s fault), retaliative, unfair pay for veteran employees, and for that? there’s turnover. if they close due to staffing, theres a reason. Plus as a customer, the coffee is just not good. Burnt.5 stars for staff LOVE the atmosphere, and go frequently and try to tip the workers. Staff does the best they can with the coffee they have. kind, wonderful and friendly.As a christian, Im very disappointed they choose to run their business so dishonestly. hate supporting these owners. I advocate they be reported.

I was looking for a good coffee shop to have lunch and also do work, and Nixon’s is the best. The sandwiches are so good (spinach artichoke is amazing) because they heat them. 10/10 recc. great drinks too. ALSO right by an RTD station!
