2018 en nu 2019 de top van mijn familie op de TongTFair. Nasi Padang met Daun singkong en Gulai Nangka en Ian bilih. Lezatt! De gemene Bakar, malse sate kammen. Volgend jaar, de andere afwas. Zeker.
Just ate here for lunch. The flavors were great. I had rice with chicken and my boyfriend the soto soup. As an extra we had sate (i think it was lamb sate). The portions were quite big too. The only thing is that the menu has no pictures nor anything written in English. You either have to google translate or use google images to see what is on their menu However as mentioned before, the flavors are great. Made me feel like i was in a restaurant in Indonesia
Waroeng Padang Lapek in Den Haag is a must-visit restaurant every time my friends and I are in town. As fellow Indonesians, it's always a delight to dine at an Indonesian restaurant where many of the customers are also Indonesians. Indonesians are known for being friendly and easy to make friends with, and sometimes we strike up conversations with other customers who are strangers. The owner is also very friendly and hospitable, making us feel like we're being hosted by our own mothers. The food at Waroeng Padang Lapek is undoubtedly delicious, serving authentic Sumatran cuisine. If you're lucky, you might even hear classic dangdut music playing, making us feel homesick and longing for Indonesia. It's bizarre to eat Indonesian food with fellow Indonesians while being in the Netherlands, but it's a unique experience that we always cherish. The location of the restaurant is in the heart of Den Haag, making it easy to find. Every dish we've tried so far has been a hit, from the spicy rendang to the savory gulai. The portions are also generous, so you'll definitely get your money's worth. If you're a fan of Indonesian cuisine, Waroeng Padang Lapek is a must-visit restaurant in Den Haag. Taken together, the combination of authentic Sumatran cuisine, the friendly staff, and the cozy atmosphere make Waroeng Padang Lapek a gem in Den Haag. It's a place where Indonesians can feel at home and where non-Indonesians can enjoy the taste of Indonesia. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in the Netherlands.
Wonderful place with very nice people. We had Nasi Padang (1 with meat, 1 vegetarian 1 vegan) and enjoyed it lot! Recommended!
