French Toast Pancake House - DeKalb

Food and service was good but my kid didn't like how the old drop ceiling looked like it was ready to fall down.

Went to this place on a whim because my friends did not wanna go to The Junction. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast we were waited on and how welcoming the staff was to us. The food came out fast and was excellent. I would highly recommend this place over any breakfast place in Dekalb

Excellent place for breakfast. The order accuracy use to be terrible, but it has improved on the last few visits. Something that is still in the Grey area though is their pricing. I don't know how many times I've ordered the same selections and paid variant/different prices on each visit. Sometimes you can add ingredients for free, other days, different waitress) adds 1.50 to each item...that's still not in order like other restaurants. I've paid as little as 27 and up to 36 for the exact same selections. I don't go much anymore.

Service was not as good as in the past. No coffee refills. Had to leave my seat to ask for a box for leftovers. Had better service in the past. It wasn't busy. Maybe 3-4 other tables.

Overall it's not horrible. Ordered wheat toast got oat. They claimed it was wheat even with oat seeds in an on the bread. Not bad on the eggs. Or the hashbrowns. I will return again hopefully they have the toast figured out.
