Kerby's Koney Island - Dearborn

This was my first time at this location being that it's close to my house. Noticed right off the bat that they had seating with updated decor and open kitchen. Service was quick and staff is friendly. Overall great experience. Very family friendly with lots of room along with great parking. I see myself visiting here a few more times. Definitely try out the brownie sundae dessert.

I loved it! The hospitality from the staff was amazing, the chicken tenders I had were cooked to perfection and definitely tender; the meat was nice and juicy, and the French fries were just as good.

Awesome carryout. Eggs poached medium french toast a winner. Owner doing 10 things at once with a good positive beat and good to us. Person who put our carryout together did such a nice job and was taking care of greeting customers seating people and managing a lot of orders at once. Everyone wearing masks. Clean spaced out tables and outdoor seating. We say ya!

Always enjoy eating here. The omelettes are filling and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend them, especially if you want to try a coney dog!

I would have rated this place zero stars if possible! Let's start with my daughter ordering a country skillet, only to be told she could only get it without the gravy because they only make it on weekends. Where do they do that? Then look at my picture. There were huge slices of onion on my coney when I asked for diced, and they brought me even bigger pieces. It seems they were out of olives and used chickpeas instead, which I am not a fan of. Additionally, my son's food, scrambled eggs with cheese, was literally sitting on top... like you could pick it up. The service was okay but I will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant.
