Machine Shed - Davenport

Good soul warming American comfort food in what I would loosely describe as a upscale Cracker Barrel celebrating Farming, but with way better food. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly, and made a few good menu recommendations as well. The dishes we ordered came out pretty quick, of which the pork combo and fried chicken were by far the best things we ordered (both her recommendations). The pork loin sandwich, bread basket and side fixin's were good too. Unfortunately the country fried steak disappointed, it didn't have a great tasting breaded crust and was too light on the sawmill gravy. But overall, the Shed is a good experience at pretty reasonable prices.

Outstanding food as always (get the stuffed pork chop) and Jo is the best server ever! Whatever they're paying her, it's not enough. Highly recommended.

We went here for the first time and were not abandoned. The waitress was wonderful and super friendly! They were pretty busy so it took 40 minutes to get our food. Once it came, we were not disappointed. We were all happy with our food.
