Darlo Bar - Darlinghurst

Darlo bar has been a favourite for me for a while. The staff are friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome. It is reasonably priced, the tunes are fabulous and they even have a pool table. They do take away as well if you want to pop out for dinner. This is a local bar but it is always welcoming to everyone else.

Stopped here during a walking wine tour and discovered their wide range of gin too. I can imagine it being a favourite with the locals during the week. The service was amazing and the bar staff went above and beyond.

Typical of the many pubs in inner-eastern Sydney, the building is amazing with an atmosphere to match. This one has a music/pop-culture feel about it, highlighted by Thursday's musical bingo nights, which are free, open to all and a lot of fun.

Big Fan of this place. Laid back, great service, can still smoke upstairs in the outside part, nice selection of craft beers, close to home and also good crowd. Sundays afternoons with Jamie on the decks finding the old and wonderful of years gone by on Vinyl is a lot of fun!

I was staying a block from the Darlo bar for the better part of two weeks. I went there twice. First time I left early as their beer selection was poor. The second time I entered and left as someone had figured that maximum volume was the best setting for the music. They have a lot of competition in the area and need to improve their game if they want to win.
