Santorini Restaurant - Danville

This is easily the best, juicy, moist, and flavorful koobideh I have ever had in the Bay Area. The bread is also delicious. My only complaint is that the koobideh is served with broccoli and baby carrots. It would be perfect if they replaced those with grilled onions, mint and parsley leaves, and feta cheese.

The food is excellent and the staff is courteous. The sandwiches here are among the top in the Bay Area.

My family has been loyal patrons of Santorini for over four years since we moved to Danville. Despite their clear preference against DoorDash orders, we sometimes have to rely on delivery services due to having children at home. Unfortunately, after numerous incorrect or unsatisfactory orders, I finally complained and was unable to receive a replacement. Regrettably, we have decided to end our patronage of Santorini.

This is usually our go to Greek takeout but tonight the pita was not wrapped and everything fell out, the Dipp Sauceing was off. Overall not what we are used to from Santorini :

The Gyros Calzone was amazing! Generous amount of filling. It was very flavorful! Im likely going to get 2-3 meals out of it. The vegetables that came with it made a nice side salad. I just wish the olives had been pitted.
