Sea Lion Sushi - Danvers

I absolutely loved this place until today. Where I’m so thankful I looked down while I was eating my gyozi because there was a DEAD BUG deep fried into it. And I’d already driven off so no time to turn around and ask for a refund. Threw out all my food. I love me some protein but this was not the way I imagined hitting my protein goal for the day. Check your food!

I went an hour ago, I bought a shrimp tempura poke bowl and a miso soup and it was incredible, the flavor, the texture, the cooking, everything was perfect, the best food in the world, the service they provide. I fell in love there and I can literally recommend it, this place is another level 10000/10

Don’t let this depressing mall food court fool you, this is very solid sushi for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. Source: am half Japanese and used to work in two different sushi restaurants in California. Cali roll was $5.50 (July 2023) and unagi avo was $6.50. Cheaper than grocery store sushi these days, and easily better. Only wish I had thought to take a better pic before I started devouring it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. But I use to come to this place a lot when I had a store in this mall. There Sushi is really good, and they do have a lot of choices.

Sea Lion Sushi has surprisingly good mall food court sushi in the Liberty Tree Mall. I had the eel sushi special, which was good and quickly prepared in time for the nearby movie I'd signed up for. There aren't many food places left in the Liberty Tree Mall's food court, so your current choices are limited.
