Gio's Pizza - Danvers

Ugh... new vibe.. place is awful. Customer service is bad. For some reason they think loudy slamming down the pizza dishes when done on the dirty floor is a good idea? Who does that? Had I known I would have never ordered. Pizza taste awful, super small and fires barely cooked.

Gio's has been a favorite of mine for a while. Great food and great service. Always happy with the food.

I called and ordered food for me and 3 of my coworkers. Ordered food but messed up one of the orders. Called back right away and asked them to change a calzone to a sub. Instead I got yelled at and was basically being told I was being forced to buy the calzone which was more expensive than the cheese steak. He refused and actually yelled at me over the phone. Refused to tell me his name and hung up on me. I told the person I did not want to be rude when I asked to change the order and he blew up. What kind of establishment is this and what kind of people are they hiring here.

I've been going to Gio for years, but not anymore. the new owners are not pleasant and eating has gone down the hill. order a grilled chicken battle with feta and wobble.huh was crispy, feta was quite not present and chunks the wobble. ah! about a week ago got a meatball under....definitively different recipes for meatballs and the Gravy/Sauce is terrible! Why did Andre sell?
