Bidrage med feedbackWent for dinner in a whim to this place with my family and boy was that the best decision we made that night for dinner. We all enjoyed our meals and the tried a variety of different tacos, gorditas, and beverages. I had three tacos with spicy pork, shredded beef, and steak. Tacos ranged in prices from $2.15-$2.30 each. I had them served the traditional way on corn tortillas the whole meal was delicious! Also got a Horchata to drink which is always a good call. The whole meal was $40 for all four of us and our server was great so we tipped well.
Cesar's Tacos was absolutely yummy! This location was at 4314 Live Oak Dallas, Tx 75204. Even the pickiest of eaters will find something they really enjoy at Cesar's Tacos. We did order a few different items, each was definitely worth it! We chose to eat in, rather than to go, which was a good choice, bc unlike other locations in the general area-other eateries smell weird, not this place thank goodness! Our orders considered of 1 Pambazo, 3 Carne Asada plates,1 Pozole, 1 taco de bistek, and 4 tacos de picadillo, not one meal disappointed us! The carne asada was so good, the meat was very tender and you didn't feel like you were having to chew for a million years or have to worry about messing up your teeth. The Pambazo was really good and not salty at all, which says so much as some Mexican restaurants over salt their food, you definitely couldn't go wrong with the tacos, however they are rather small at this location, so you do have to order quite a few if you have a big appetite going in... The Pozole was really good, and it's awesome that they don't just serve it on the weekends as most locations do. Overall, I would recommend this location, just as I would the other Cesar's Tacos locations.
Every kind of shrimp (camarones) we had here was amazing, Aquaquiles, Tostadas, Tacos. The tequila sunrises were also fantastic. The service was great! Everything came out exactly as ordered and super fast!
EDIT 11/15/21: I came back hungrier this time and made the mistake of ordering both Pozole and the Carne Asada Plate. It was my first time trying Pozole, and what a delight it was! The bowl was HUGE, filled with a delicious broth loaded with tender chunks of pork and veggies. Just the Pozole alone would have satisfied me, but I also made sure to enjoy the carne asada. The char on those thin slices of beef was exquisitely smoky.
Here are my top recommendations: Tostadas (fajita and bistek), breakfast burritos (with various combinations), and Tacos (especially on Taco Tuesday). The only downside to this restaurant is that they sometimes don’t answer the phone when you call to place an order, as they are often busy and short-staffed. However, the overall food quality and the staff they do have are excellent.
