Bidrage med feedbackI have been recommending this restaurant to all my friends in the United States. I was looking forward to coming back home and enjoying the delicious dishes from my childhood favorite restaurant. However, I was very disappointed with my most recent visit. The lugaw was bland, the lumpiang togue was overly fried and tasted like oil, and the tokwa't baboy was hard with bland vinegar. The old charm of the place is no longer there. I gave it a 2-star rating because the kakanin was still delicious, but I can't fully credit them since it is supplied to them. I hope the owners focus on improving the food quality again. Citangs is a popular food destination in Malolos, and I hope they read this review and make an effort to bring back the greatness. With so much competition, they will fall behind if they don't improve.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. There is a wide selection of traditional Filipino rice cakes to choose from. They offer authentic delicacies from Bulacan, which have been a favorite of mine since childhood.
If you find yourself in the historic Malolos City in Bulacan, Citang's is a great spot to enjoy a variety of Filipino delicacies such as kesong puti, kutsinta, puto, palabok, tokwa't baboy, and more. They also offer parking for convenience.
If you crave for Filipino delicacies, Citang's caters to most of the all time favorites. Go there and see for yourself! I guarantee no regrets once you have tasted the good food!
This restaurtant has been known for the kakanin or rice cakes. There are lots of variety you could find as arrange attractively on the counter. However, for their other menu, i find it not tasty enough for my palate. Also, it is a bit pricey for a simple tokwa't baboy and lugaw combo. Anyway, i will definitely go back for their fancy looking kakanin and other delicacies they offer.
