Top Sushi - Cypress

I ordered the Udon Chicken Soup to go, and it was extremely salty, tasting like noodles drenched in soy sauce and salt. It was inedible. I called the restaurant at 9 pm on June 28, 2023, to inform them of the issue. A waitress answered the call and simply stated that there was nothing they could do, without even offering an apology. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

I always order this sushi whenever I am in the mood for some late night cravings. The fish is fresh and the rice is perfectly cooked - not too hard. The rolls have perfect combinations and the salads taste fresh as well. I am so happy to have this restaurant so close by! Food: 5/5.

I used to come to this restaurant often, but I was disappointed this time. The friend I brought with me was a first-time visitor and was not impressed with the sushi or the service, giving it only 1 star. I think they should use less mayonnaise on their dishes and be more knowledgeable about the menu when making recommendations to customers. There is another Top Sushi location in Houston that seems to maintain better quality and service.

This is my second time being here, very good atmosphere and food. The prices are fair and drinks (alcoholic) are pretty good. The server was very kind. The place does get pretty packed after 7 so if you’re not wanting to wait then I suggest coming before then. We got egg rolls as appetizers and the California, shaggy dog, Mexico City, super crunchy, and the most interesting best choice the VIVA LAS VEGAS. Yum yum!!
