I prefer silken tofu because it is a menu item that is almost always delicious, but this restaurant seems to be making a living with flavors that are not really basic.

The food here is very fresh and clean. The small dishes are all freshly made as well. You have the choice of selecting your own tofu pot combination. I picked the tomato one. The service is excellent. The lady who served us is super friendly. I'm surprised to find a Korean restaurant at this area. Will come back with friends again.

Chodang in Cypress is a new shop in town, and I've already visited twice. I've fallen in love, not only with their amazing tofu soup, but also with delicious Korean dishes like bibimbap and seafood pancake.I absolutely adore the vibes: from the service to the food, it feels like dining at home. They consistently serve warm, hearty meals with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The fact that they make their own tofu, crafted using Gangneung's pristine waters, tells me everything, their high standards of quality and flavor. This is the first tofu soup store I know where you can customize your own tofu soup bowl, from the soup base to the meat and sides options. Finally, I can order something that has everything I like in my bowl!The Galbi beef is incredibly juicy and tender, and the hot stone bibimbap, filled with good veggies and ingredients, is a delight to mix. The seafood pancake is pizza-sized, packed with so much seafood. When dipped into their house special sauce, it's a perfect 10/10. The cold noodle is refreshing and authentic.The service is truly the best! Their servers are heartwarming and fast. I can't forget their smiles; it made my day everytime. I will definitely be back for a third visit and more. Solid 5 stars!
