Don't come here for dinner. Come for the cozy surroundings and view over the Harper. I have the fish soup and Angus Steak. I'm 95 sure the fish soup wasn't made at home and the steak was in the freezer. The fish soup did not taste well and it was the heating skin above when it was served. The Angus Steak tasted like nothing. It was tender. But tasteless. The beard was good. Plus point. The fries I had bought in a supermarket. It is a shame that the food was so normal to poor because the restaurant decor is nice and cozy and the view really good. I'm not coming back to this restaurant.

North American standards make the hotel rooms very small. I always hit things and knock my baggage off the carrier. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and speak English. On the plus side breakfast is excellent. Just a few minutes walk from my business meetings.

I was staying at the hotel and decided to try their restaurant for dinner. Great view of the North Sea. Ordered the rib eye - dry aged steaks are supposed to almost "melt in your mouth" and can be cut easily. This one was a bit tough, but flavor was good. With spinach, grilled vegetables, and a Coke the bill was ~ 41 Euro - a bit steep.

Simply the best view in cuxhaven, with commanding views of the traffic on the Elbe and the sunset too if you're there at the right time. The food is excellent, and the desserts delicious. Treat yourself to a steak!
