King Island Bakehouse - Currie

Had a fantastic 3 nights at the hotel .felt very welcoming on arrival by sandy. The room was excellent.being in the heart of town was ideal.we had all our meals in the dining room which were outstanding,best eye fillet steak and fresh crayfish ever had.the locals and owner John smith were very accommodating in sharing local stories.I recommend this hotel to any visitor.lot of fun Heino and Anne Rooms: Excellent Nearby activities: Golf and calcified forrest Safety: No crime on island Walkability: Being in center of town all shops and other places of interest in walking distance Food drinks: Cooked with care and very tasty

We stayed for 5 nights and was more than happy with our stay. Great food and atmosphere. Would definitely stay again

Really enjoyed our times spent here. Had dinner the night we arrived on the island and ordered crayfish for the Wednesday after. The food was amazing. I had the crumbed Camembert both times as it's my favourite. Staff are very professional and quick.
