Green Dragon - Croydon

Loved the vibrant atmosphere, impressive selection of drinks and delicious burger. I've added it to my barguide.london site too!

Had to chase food twice and it took 28 minutes for two burgers to arrive. No one else being served food anywhere in sight. Excuse was only one cook. Was charged an extra burger fee for their triple burger which had only 3 burgers per description. Veggie burger acceptable but rolls were not very fresh. Won't be visiting again.

I recently visited The Green Dragon in Croydon and had an absolutely delightful experience. The fish and chips were simply outstanding – the fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were golden and delicious. The Hawaiian pizza was another highlight, with a perfect balance of sweet pineapple and savory ham, all on a wonderfully baked crust. However, the chicken wings could use a bit more work. They were decent, but lacked the flavor punch that would make them truly memorable. Despite this minor hiccup, everything else was amazing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, The Green Dragon is a fantastic spot for a meal, and I highly recommend trying their fish and chips and Hawaiian pizza. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

A very cute and modern pub, the staff was amazing and accommodating with my disabled father in law. Food was great. Recommend.

Great selection of draft beers and ciders, and great pub atmosphere. Good food too!
