Friendly service. Busy, so not fast that day, but worth the wait. Located in a small, picturesque village of Crawford Bay with fine artisan shops.

I was suggested this café by a bartender from a different town, so I decided to visit while passing through for a quick meal. I am happy that I did. The coffee and small cake were delicious, and I also savored a vegetable panini. It's definitely a must-visit if you enjoy Italian-inspired dishes or simply a quality cup of coffee.

My husband and I are grateful that we decided to stop at The Black Salt Café during our visit to Crawford Bay. Thanks to the recommendations from other Trip Advisor reviewers, we were able to experience the excellent service provided by the friendly and efficient staff, despite the ongoing staffing shortages in the restaurant industry. The beautiful garden patio added to the delightful atmosphere of the restaurant. However, it was the outstanding food that truly impressed us. The menu was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the quality of the food was exceptional.

The Black Salt Cafe is a Diamond in the rough. Ok…not trashing the other eateries in this postal code, but the BSC is no question a quantum leap above in creativity and quality of food. Go there, order, be patient. You’ll thank me later. Bon Appetito
