Bidrage med feedbackWhat a gem! wasai bistro has some of the best quality and variety sushi I've ever had, which is especially rare for Central Jersey. I was in love with her Japanese French menu, but I had my heart and my favorite tried to try her sushi for the first time. everything had surpassed my expectations from eating to service. my server was so pleasant and helpful with menu suggestions. my absolute favourite dish was the chutoro fatty tuna sashimi. this article is on the expensive side, but it is so worth it. the smoked salmon bell sushi was my server proposal and she nailed it. I'll order this next time. Finally, I had the sushi lunch special, which is my lunch and of course not disappointed. I am looking forward to return to Wasai to try more from their menu and hope to see an omakase option in the future!
I love it here. it is a small intimate space. the waitress is really beautiful and not overlaid. eating is just soou soouu good. I can't just have an item on the menu because it tastes so great. my favorite menu item must be the spicy miso suppe. Of course I had dessert because I had such a great time to eat here. the chocolate cake is so satisfying. oh, and I did not mention the best part that it is byob. wasai has my heart.
Very tasty. I really like the environment of this place, there are many great witwen make people feel comfortable. also eating is amazing! the sushi is the best to choose there are hundreds of species sushi for them. I will come back
Small quaint restaurant serving fusion food. I would recommend the entrees over the sushi options. The dumplings for appetizers were meh, would probably not get again
Wasai was recommended to me and I'm glad to have finally checked them out for a girls brunch. What we got: Seared Tuna Tataki Grilled Octopus Escargot with Mushroom Sauce Mes Reves Roll Seared Tuna and Asparagus with Wasabi Chardonnay Sauce Roasted Duck Confit with Mushroom Risotto Premium Aged Angus Steak on the Stone We shared all the appetizers and enjoyed each one. The waitress recommended the duck confit and it was actually pretty tasty. It was cooked just right not tough or rubbery! The tuna was filling and sauces for the steak were tasty as well
