Bavarian Chalet Restaurant - Cranbrook

I brought my parents to this restaurant and they both liked their meals. However, I personally found the food to be very bland.

Oh My Goodness. the borscht, the pirogies, the cabbage rolls, the kielbasa! You walk in and smells like gramma's house on a Sunday night, after she's been cooking all weekend for her 16 grandchildren. There isn't anything on this menu that I wouldn't order again, the trouble is I have my favourites and I am not willing to give them up.

This place is one of the best restaurants in the region. Go for the prime rib, it is amazing. They are well known and highly recommended for a reason. Reservations here are good.

They have the best prime rib and pork ribs! I have never been disappointed with any meal i got there. I am from Ontario and I go here every time I visit Cranbrook

I can't say it was bad food...it was just boring. There wasn't much seasoning, it was dry and I ended up not eating very much. The service was ok, but nothing exceptional, the servers seemed as bored as I was eating the food.
