Off The Boat Fish Chippery - Cranbourne

Fantastic friendly service, good quality food and decent value. I have tried several fish and chip shops closer to home, but this is my new way, none of the nearby fish and chip shops come near the service and get quality here.

Great fish and chip shop, best one in the area in my opinion.

Writing this review while I’m waiting for my order. I was so hungry and there was no food places open in eve central so decided to go to this off the boat chippery. I’ve ordered medium chips which was $9, and the old lady said minimum eftpos is $10. There was nothing else I needed and she said that she can’t charge a service fee therefore she’ll have to charge $10. So, I’ve changed the chips to large one which is $13.50 thinking that I will enjoy some hot chips. after I finished paying she goes to me chips doesn’t come with sauce. Sauce is 30 cents each. I told the lady at the beginning I don’t have any cash. So how I’m supposed to pay for sauce 30 cents by card. When I asked her “ you could have told me at the beginning it doesn’t come with sauce and it’s 30cents I would’ve buy sauce until I reach the minimum eftpos limit she started to argue with me said I’m a smart one and started to be rude. She was so rude and said “ nothing comes free , u have to buy ur own sauce, I don’t get anything for free blah blah .. then how about she’s trying to charge me a $1 for free.. $1 is nothing but she doesn’t deserve it) when I asked for refund she refused it and didn’t even said sorry. What a rude old lady. Worst place ever. No smile, no customer service. If u don’t know how to do business then don’t do it . DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I don’t know how they got 5 . May b they paid for people to review them

Went in the other day and it was fairly busy; witnessed the so called owner degrade one of the workers. Not sure what goes on in there but that was extremely hard to watch and most likely humiliating to do in front of customers and I hope that their okay. Food was ehh… edible in a sense… mostly just soggy and oily. idk man ur better off else where tbh

Two. we have fish and chips from here and it's bursting. I am fussy with fish-N-chips, as I grew up in nz and it is hard to find a good fish-N-chip store. we live in clyde and I have tried to fish n chips from all around berwick cranbourne and clyde, I can honestly say this place is the next I can to a nz fish n chip store. older gent and older dame are very polite, not sure who wrote these other reviews, and say they were rude is not our experience with these youngs. decide for themselves, keep them the good work!
