Drinks were all homemade blended drinks we watched them being made) and excellent. We had mango daiquiri, strawberry daiquiris and sangria. The food was average for us. We had chicken enchiladas in verde sauce. The best parts for us are ambiance, drinks and service
We eat all over the island and this year were staying for two weeks and looking for new restuarants to try. After eating at Buccano's, Kondessa and Kinta I have to say Chardonnay really surprised us. The ambiance is really quaint and pretty with the outside garden area. My husband and I shared our entrees and we thought both were outstanding so really shocked to see the meal complaints. Granted, we did not have lobster, but we had blackened grouper (cooked and seasoned perfectly) and chicken mole enchiladas( tasty and presented beautifully). We were so impressed with the service and food we were share to extend our compliments and shook hands with the older gentleman (server) and cook. They were very appreciative of our business and we told fellow friends at our hotel about it. We will be back next year as we are foodies and ate out 13 0f 15 nights and this was in our top 5 of favorites this year.
The decor is so perfect... Open air with palm trees, coconuts, vines, flowering bushes, all kinds of live animal and bird sounds... It is like being in another dimension on another world! The service and the food was very good also!!! I for sure recommend this place to everyone!
Fabulous service from owner, detailed descriptions of menu, excellent food recommendations, exquisite fish dishes, best yet in Cozumel. Great ambiance, must visit again before going back home.
Beware of the old man serving and the young cook with the sport team shirt. When they served rubbery Un-fresh lobster, they defended the overcooking as a “protection” from disease. They were rude and refused to correct the issue. When I offered to pay for everything but the lobster, they threatened to call the police. When I said that suited me fine, they came back and asked for 85% of the lobsters cost. I paid it under protest to protect my evening. As well: the Rockford dressing was a mix of mayo and ketchup orange coloured sauce with no connection to blue cheese. And, it took them 70 plus minutes to serve my food. They claimed they were down a cook and that’s why.
