To begin with the service was terrible: they brought us the wrong food and we had to repeatedly remind the waiter to bring certain things that we had ordered or it would never have arrived. Meanwhile, the food that they did manage to bring was terrible: cold, dry, undercooked. Now three of us are suffering from stomach infections- that says it all really. Furthermore, we weren’t the only ones treated to shabby food and service; lots of people around us were complaining. Absolutely shocking all round. We’d have been better off eating tacos in the street. Stay clear of this place. 0/10.
Beautiful 100 year old cafe in the middle of the historic city. The interiors and ambiance are not to be missed. And the food, oooooh yum!
Ate breakfast at Sanborns in Hotel Genève every morning. Offer juices and sweets to full breakfast. I had eggs over easy with bacon and a potato cake, served with toast, juice and coffee for 115 Pesos. Tried many of the different breakfast items in the course of a week and was not disappointed in any of them. The breakfasts and coffee were excellent as was the service. When not serving the staff was always cleaning or straightening up so the place was immaculate.
This restaurant has a very American feel to it in so far as it feels like a corporate chain. This has its benefits, its clean, comfortable and you know what to expect, for the most part. The seating consists of booths and few tables and looks like an upscale Denny's. The menu actually includes some American items but caters mostly to the local tastes. The menu is, of course, in Spanish. Food is forgettable, not that bad... not that good either. Service is decent though not overly enthusiastic in line with the corporate feel. OK place overall but nothing I'd write home about,
They only have money to invest in prime locations with moderate interiors. The principal factor of Consumer experience sucks with their distasteful food, attitude of substandard staff, SKUs etc.
