Mcdonald's - County Durham

Slow slow slow! Avoid at all costs. It’s ridiculous here how slow the service is. This is all times of the day. Would love to know what the problem is

Call in here now and then when passing and recently called into drive thru for drinks. Girl who took my money was pleasant but young lad who just handed me drinks no smile no offer of sugar was more interested talking to his other two work colleagues ,it doesn’t take much to be pleasant after all without us they wouldn’t be there ,the place needs more older experience staff who care so now i will go further down the road now and use Other food outlets as they know how to look after customers.

Quick and efficient service with the normal McDonalds Fayre on offer. Nice to see prices are similar to normal High St. despite being on a service area. Food well cooked, clean sitting area and generally pleasant surroundings

Called in whilst on the road. Ordered 2 classic signature meals with fries and coffee Burger came in a shiny brioche juicey beef burger with smiley bacon, mayo sauce, red onion and fresh lettuce. We ordered at the window, though could have ordered via computer there were several) The meal was freshly cooked to order, they were very busy, the order took around 5 minutes. The seating area was clean, and comfy enough. Our burger was delicious- yes honestly! Really flavoursome and guaranteed British Irish meat. My black coffee was spot on! Strong, made with freshly ground beans. Chips were fine, guessing just frozen shoestring chips. The menu also catered for calorie counters, and non meat eaters. I wanted an ice cream- but was too full!!! Would I eat here again? Definitely!

Often take my aged mother and her friend in here for lunch. We always get table service which is great and the staff cant do enough to help us as my mother is in a wheel chair.
